The essence of Tondo Fiorentino has its roots in the visual and formal panorama of artistic Florence of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, breathing the spirit of the great masters Della Robbia, Michelangelo, Pontormo AND Rosso Fiorentino.
The circle is the geometric figure that inspires the institutional image of the brand, composed of the words “Tondo” whose sound cannot be translated into other languages refers to Michelangelo’s work dedicated to the Doni family, and “Fiorentino”, a word unequivocally linked to Florence and to the universal image that this city has in the world.
THE CIRCLE IS THE DISTINCTIVE ELEMENT OF TONDO FIORENTINO, WITH ITS SIMPLE AND PERFECT SHAPE IT TRANSCENDS GEOMETRIC PURITY TO MATERIALIZE IN A DESIGN WORK: THE PORCELAIN PLATE.
The main product of the entire production of the brand, with the double value of an object of everyday use and a piece of furniture, the porcelain plate becomes the ideal canvas in which the artistic production led by Diego Ponzuoli tells its own vision of art.

Bringing art to the table to meet the art of cooking; this is the theme I pursued in creating my collection of dishes dedicated to the world of food.
Both easy and complex themes, variations of colors, shapes and styles blatantly mixed and designed to amaze, to motivate to bring you closer to the pleasure of “daring” … when the taste is made up of a single shade, it fades quickly but when the tastes are many, different and sometimes contrasting then the palate as the eyes never cease to appreciate, to enjoy “dreaming” …
